A Shatner Serenade

Nerds rejoice! Star Trek and Star Wars finally come together for the opening of AFI's tribute to George Lucas as William Shatner sings to him, with storm trooper accompaniment. It's great, check it out!

William Shatner is a god. Half the Star Wars people look doped out on drugs! At least Harrison had a good laugh!!!

Lee-
Shatner is god and your right everyone in the room does look high. Also what's with Spielberg he looks so dissinterested.

Scurvy-
Okay true you can't really call it singing but I will admit to loving the Shatner schtick. I have all the man's albums...all two of them.
Shatner rocks!

I agree with Lee, Shatner is a god. His rendition of "Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds" is just one of many of his unique, groundbreaking works in the field of pop music. You don't just listen to Shatner sing, you experience him!

By the way, seeing as how you are a Dr. Who fan, did you catch this?

According to a report from Contact Music the new mom is being offered a role to play a group of sex mad aliens on the British Sci-fi TV show Doctor Who.

Not only would there be just one Britney alien, there would be dozens. The Daily Star from the UK explains that writer Russell T Davies is a huge fan and wants her to appear in an episode created especially for her.

If the show gets its way, Blonde Brit will be cast as an entire race of lusty cloned creatures that all look identical to the twice-wed beauty. "I'd love Britney to do it – it would be so much fun," said Russell, 43.

"I'm not sure if she'll come to Cardiff where the show is shot so I'm nagging the BBC to fund a Hollywood special."

That's so funny! and oddly enough something I would be curious to see. It could be a trainwreck but it could also be awesome beyond all belief!
