Evangeline

If you've been reading for awhile you'll know I've been trying to get started taking pin-up photography.

I've had a few false starts over the last few months but finally a couple of weeks ago had the chance to work with my first proffessional model Evangeline. Evangeline was wonderful and I could not have asked for a better first experience; not only was she very lovely but she was so proffessional and full of creative poses. It was just a great experience!

I took just under 200 pictures and was very pleased with the results! Here are a few of my favorites. I'd love to hear feedback if anyone has it to offer.

Let me just say... NAW! What a cutie. And I love the resulting pictures.

Looks... may underlit a little? (I don't know, honestly, maybe I've gotten used to all that wild contrast in color I see online.)

Kudos. :) I love seeing people being creative with their passions.

Thanks for the feedback, I'm doing everything on the cheap at this point so it's been a bit of trial and error with the lighting.

I think the first one and the last three came out the best in comparison to old school pinups.

I'll just skip the technical and say it. A girl in her underwear. Works for me.

First I would like to say that you are good with the camera, and have an eye for appealing poses. No doubt this is form years of studying the art form. I love the second to last picture the best. It has a good feel to it, lighting looks good, and the best thing is the background isn't too distracting. (while I love the first set, the BG is a little overpowering)
Keep up the great work, I think you could really be on to something here.

BTW- Lucky Kermit. :D

Yowsa! The lighting is fine, from here at least. Really. Why let Kermit have all of the fun? You must have a few shots with some of the rest of your action figure collection - ? Great stuff!

Admirable work. I've never shot any models that I didn't build first and that was in the late 70s or early 80s, with a 110 camera. Keep up the good work. :)

The sad thing is that I spent longer perusing the contents of your bookshelves than anything else.

If Evangeline would just twist around a bit I'd be able to see more Asimov...

I really appreciate all your help!

Thank you all so much for your feedback, it's really been a huge help in identifying areas where I need to improve.

I promise to post more pictures as I take them!

Oh and Marvin...I think Isaac might slap you upside the head for looking at his picture rather than the model. Still that is a pretty awesome pic of Asimov. You just can't beat the mutton chops!

A week later and I am still thinking about these photos, which in my world really means something.
