Excuse the drool...

I could never have guessed based on those awful over-the-top trailers just how perfect a movie 300 would be. Went to see it today and I can't recommend it enough! This movie has some really wonderful battle sequences and a veritable feast striking images. Man this is one of hell of a good looking movie. I think I'm going to have to go out and see this again!

yeah! another "girl" heard from that likes this movie. i thought it was a real visual feast and liked the clean story line a lot. my friend, who is a movie critic (www.flickfilosopher.com) raved about it but several of her fellow critics thought "gurrrls" (insert Calvin and Hobbes snear here) would be turned off by it, or would only go with boyfriends. i went with 9 other geeks this past weekend -- only 3 of us were female - and 3 men liked it, 3 didn't and all the women did! like you becca, i may need to see it again.

Absolutely wonderful movie - and I'm not the typical audience for this genre. I'm a 50 year old woman who LOVED this graphic, violent, sometimes sensitive, but thoroughly entertaining film. And, lest we forget, the absolute HUNK factor - dudeity RULES! A veritable feast for the eyes in every way.

Bonnie- It's so funny cause I really feel like it's women who will like this movie more than guys. Sure it has terrific action scenes in spades and this is certainly not a chick flick but Leonidas is such a woman's character...faithful husband and lover, strong moral warrior and ruler...he's just perfect. Like Mark Darcy, perfect. Of course men like this don't really exist (some come close but no one male or female can be that perfect)and that's the appeal.

Scurvy-
Intense and awesome. Such a great movie!

Lee-
I hope you enjoy!
