Illustrator and comic book artist Dave stevens died yesterday after a long battle with leukemia. Dave's amazing good girl art and his fantastic comic book series The Rocketeer have been a huge influence on my own art and I'm so sad to see him pass away at such a young age! Here aree a few pieces of his art to celebrate the man's life.

Thanks for those scans, Becca. His work got me interested in comics in the 1980s. I could not believe the man passed away. So sad.
It's nice to see that Stevens touched so many people's lives. It's great to have his work and deeds to remember him by.
Dang,what a great artist. I will miss him.
