I've had this whole Polynesian theme going on recently...not quite sure why but here are two of my favorite drawings from this week.

I think you are awesome.
It just occurred to me that your drawings remind me a lot of Sarah Dyer, if you are familiar. Do you ever think about doing comics stories? That seems like something you're headed towards . . .
Wyldth1ng-
Awwww thank you!
John-
Gosh I never thought of that but now that you say it...that's a really cool compliment!
I would like to do comics but my writing skills are so so. I've been thinking about adapting some Grimm stories or actually I have a couple of other ideas I'll keep under wraps :)
very cool!
Charming!
My bride, by the way, just got her drawing last night. She loves it! You'll see a picture of it up in the tiki bar in the next couple of weeks
I have a feeling your writing skills are better than you portray them, you just haven't explored your talent to the fullest . . . I could expand, but I'll spare you the embarrassment.
I love both of thembut I especially love the first one.
Ha! Those are great! I like Tiki lady best, but 50s snob lady has the perfect background! That style of wallpaper was **tres chic** in those days.
*wave* Nice work! Adding you to the blogroll since I tend to dig the same aesthetics :)
They look good. I have to agree completely with Dr Zaius. I wish I could add more but he stole my thoughts.
Ah, Hawaii...
Pidomon-
Thank you!
Bubs-
So glad she likes it! I can't wait to see what the tiki bar looks like!
John-
You are probably right. I think I just need to sit down and take the time to focus on what I really want to accomplish.
Dr. Monkey-
Thanks you!
Dr. Zaius-
Those old wallpapers are so cool...but soooo loud. I wonder how they ever matched the furniture to the walls?
Maura-
Thanks for the blogrollness!
Bradda-
Great minds think alike!
Dean-
Agreed!
Very nice pictures! And a shout-out for making the lovely guitarist left-handed!
If you're looking for some "grim" tales to illustrate, I'd be happy to contribute some :).
Break out the Martin Denny records!
they look like tiki tarot cards and that is a very cool thing IMO
