Sexy Batgirl drawing anyone?

Drew this Batgirl tonight and I just really loved the angle. Barbara Gordon should only wear purple I think.

I also posted a Wonder Woman drawing over on the new Amazon Princess Site. It's a great new blog devoted to all things Wonder Woman, check it out!

I've been awarded! I feel so honored!

Two of my awesome fellow bloggers When is Evil Cool? and Gilligan have chosen to award The Skullcave with a Dardo award! Thank you both so much!

Now the best part of getting one of these awards is that I get to pass it on! The Dardos Award is described as: An award given for recognition of cultural, ethical, literary, and personal values transmitted in the form of creative and original writing. These stamps were created with the intention of promoting fraternization between bloggers, a way of showing affection and gratitude for work that adds value to the Web.
Now here are the rules: (there are always rules...)
1) Accept the award by posting it on your blog along with the name of the person that has granted the award and a link to his/her blog.

2) Pass the award to another five blogs that are worthy of this acknowledgement, remembering to contact each of them to let them know they have been selected for this award. I received two of these so I get to pass it on to ten! SWEET!

1. The Manchester Morgue is a fun little blog filled with comics, music and the occasional MST3K episode. What more could you ask for?

2. Booksteve's Library is a great eclectic mix of pop culture and book stuffs (comics and prose...tee hee hee I said prose). I always enjoy reading it!

3. House of Self-Indulgence is an excellent blog for very in-depth reviews of cult movies with lots of pictures! And the occassional video!

4. There are not nearly enough toy blogs out there so I was thrilled to find Paper and Plastic Please!. You rock Dash! And if anyone can turn me on to more fun toy blogs I'd be sooo grateful!

5. Fabulon is a, well fabulous picture blog! Everything from vintage to modern, fashion, music art...it's all so wonderful! I have no idea where he finds it all but thank god he does!

6. The Manly Art Blog features the amazingly wonderful art of fellow Chicagoan Jason Chalker. He paints a mean pin-up but my favorite is his Michael Caine!

7. Bride of Awesomeness is the best of pervy, pervy awesomeness!

8. Speaking of pervy, pervy awesomeness I love Dirty and Nerdy! It's chock full of buxom beauties from around the world and occasionally a girl in a latex supergirl costume. SWEET!

9. Knight and Stars is full of geek tidbits, comic goodness and girls! The perfect combination! Digging the new banner too!

10. And I can't forget Smoke Rings and Matterings! You owe it to yourself to check out the ultra talented John's wonderful writing and amazing illustrations. It's cosmic spacey goodness.

Wacky Beatles Collectibles

The Beatles Wig

Beatles Chick Tract Comic

I Love The Beatles Bow Tie

Beatles Balloon (I really want to make a snarky comment about all those girls getting their chance to finally blow a Beatle...but that would just be crude...)

Valentine's Date with Reginald

There is a fabulous online comic called Nedroid Picture Diary. It's about the adventures of an adorable Beartato and his snarky friend Reginald who is a bird. Every once in a while you even get an awesome robot drawing! In anycase the site is running a contest right now to draw a comic or drawing depicting what you would do on a date with Reginald. I have zero chance of winning but I just couldn't pass up the chance to draw a busty date for Reginald, who looks quite spiffy in his tie.
