I have a TUMBLR now too.

Since I don't always have time to update this blog I started a TUMBLR...makes sense right? For my art. It's called Becca's Art and I have it set to post one or sometimes 2 pieces of art a day. New stuff, old stuff a little bit of everything so check it out :)

Here's another recent drawing Super Betty and Wonder Veronica. Poor Archie....

Great! I am following you now. And how weird that I blogged about my Tumblr account (Caffeinated Joe - To Go) today, too!

Are you on the Twitter as well?

Robert Pope said...

Oh, Archie seems pretty content down there to ME...

I'm following your Tumblr!

I'm feeling like such a net newbie. I can't figure out how to comment on Tumblr. What kind of idiot am I?

Congrats on the Kreativ Blogger Award!

I sent you an e-mail a while back; you were a recipient of a One Lovely Blog award! I passed the honor to you here:

An interview with Becca now up here:

Nathan said...

Arkonbey: The default on Tumblr is not to allow comments. Some people (including me) use Disqus for Tumblr comments, but it doesn't look like Becca does.

Max/Becca: I don't really follow comics, but I've come across several people bashing Rob Liefeld in recent months. And from what I've seen of his "art," he deserves it.

My verification word is "whlor." I'm not sure what that is, but it sounds dirty.

Arkonbey said...

@Nathan: Thanks. Now I know and that, apparently, is half the battle.

If you feel like it, here's an old critique of Liefeld's Captain America.

verification word: unterse: to add superfluity to something

TUMBLR is pretty grawsome (that's great and awesome combined to make one stupendous word). I just started following you :)

Actually I am though I don't update much at all. If you want to follow the dullness it's here:

Ha, yeah I'm pretty sure there are folks that'd pay to be where he there's a recession-proof business ;)

That is the one thing about TUMBLR that sucks. No commenting unless you use some really sophisticated looking add-on. I've been meaning to look into it but haven't gotten there yet. Thanks for checking it out though. I've been putting a mix of old and new up and it's been interesting to see what people think.

Thanks for the AWESOME award! And hooray the interview is up! I'm gonna post a link in a bit.

I have to figure out that Disqus thing, haven't had a chance yet.

Nathan & Arkonbey-
And yeah Rob Leifeld...ugh...his stuff... I suppose some people like it cause he is rather well-known but it's just sooo unappealing to me.

Did he ever figure out how to draw feet? He used to just these insanely detailed muscled torsos then draw straight lines that narrowed at the ankles with crazy feet like objects at the bottom. Maybe he has a muscley torso fetish.

Okay just read the critique. Dead on, that stuff about the shield was great! How does someone get in the position Rob Liefeld's with art as inconsistent as his? (Not that I'm perfect...cause I'm not but I'm working on that. Of course I don't get his paychecks.)

Nathan said...

Arkonbey: Yes, and the other half is beating the crap out of the other guy.
