You know, there's a lot of reasons to like the 70's.... And they're always overshadowed by naked Burt Reynolds on a bearskin rug. It's a shame with all the rad shit, but after the polyester, leisure suits, prog, disco, and all the sex and drugs, naked Burt Reynolds on a bearskin rug was just icing on the cake.
Don't get me wrong, some of it's undeniably rad, some of it's rad in that hahaha-what-the-fuck-were-they-thinking way. Hell, I'm a total prog nerd. It's just completely unsurprising that Punk evolved out of the 70's. :D
I would like to read all those stories.

My mom had that issue of Cosmo and I just remember how creepy it was the first time I saw it. But yeeeeah you have it pegged there with that icing on the cake stuff.
