Yep that's me!

I had model over for another photo shoot this morning and after she left, since I had everything set up, I decided to try and take some self-portraits. Some of them turned out pretty cool, here are a few:

That's one of my drawings I am holding in the last picture. This was alot of fun!

Very nice. And thank you for joining! You are [checks] the 6th one so far. It's June 8th to the 10th, and we'd love to get more by then! And the blog is only so the "we" is pointless! But I say it anyway! Whee!!!!!!!!

We took a vote here at Monkey Muck HQ and we decided that we liked the one with you reading Issac Asimov book the best. We liked them all, but that one was our favorite.

Fabulous! You are absolutely fabulous! I hope this becomes a regular feature. You are perhaps at your most fetching as the girl with a flower in you hair.

It's the "Miss Jones Syndrome." You take off your Blogger glasses, and voila! "Why, Miss Jones, you are beautiful."

I note your expression in the photo where you are reading. Sometimes Issac Asimov has same effect on me as well.

I almost missed it! Your drawing from Frakenstein U is great! I never figured the monster as a frat boy, but your picture captures "monster college" life to a T! "Dude! C'mon! There's a Kegger over at the Frankenstein House!"

Thank you for the best event of my day. Really wonderful. This is better than finding out that Racer X was Really Speed Racer's Brother!

Very nice, I love the last one as well, the drawing is quite cute.

Nice pics! Wouldn't have figured the blond look.
My fav is the tie with cardigan.

Excited to be part of the blog-a-thon! Wheeeee!!! Right back at ya!

Dr. Monkey-
Tee hee hee I just typed Dr. Monkey! Do you know Dr. Worm?

And the Asimov picture is fun. We have several Asimov books in the house including an algebra book and one on the universe. I wanted to pick a book that looked more challenging but I couldn't resist the portrait of Asimov on the biography. Asimov rules!

Dr. Zaius-
Thank you! I have always loved the giant flower in the hair look so I had to try it. I have a few pics with my glasses on too, maybe I'll post one of those later on.

And I'm glad you noticed the Frankenstein pic, I'm pretty proud of the way it turned out. It only seemed right to be holding some of my art in a self-portrait.

Oh my god if you keep all this flattery up I'm going to get a big head!

"There's a Kegger over at the Frankenstein House!"--I keep hearing this to the tune of that song from Rocky Horror, "There's a light! Over at the Frankenstein place!"

Thanks! Like I said I'm quite proud of that drawing in particular.

Thanks for the compliments! The blonde hair used to be blue, then green, then red...I've let the bold color fade and now just have two giant blonde chunks.

But wait - wouldn't Dr. Zaius also be a Dr. Monkey...? [muahahahaha]

I think you are your own best photographic subject, actually. You look like you are having fun, it really comes through.

Okay, this is weird. Would you like to know what book is waiting for me at my local library, even as we speak?

Ahh the years of staring at pictures of Bettie page, Bunny Yeager girls and Dita Von Teese have finally paid off. But seriously it was a ton of fun!

How funny! It's a great book, Asimov is so much fun to read...especially when he talks about himself!

Unmasked!! Self portraits are a challenging thing for any artist to capture. Obvoiusly I don't know you personally, but my impression of you is you are a fun, and somewhat carefree type of person. I think these pictures portray that.
I have to say my favorite is the eye-patch/ tri-corn picture, but that's just cuz I dig pirates.

I love the drawing by the way.

Great shots! And mark me down as another reader who just LOVES the drawing in the last photo. :)

My my, Becca, you are a hottie! My fave is the first pirate shot. Why don't you come over to mine and collect your Thinking Blogger Award when you have a sec?

Very nice, I like the flower one the best, but the 'Captain Morgan' one is pretty nice too.

It looks like you had a lot of fun.

I think I'll take the busty beauty in this post over most of your pinup girls :)

Fun and carefree that's me! ...except when I'm not...

Thanks for the kind words!

I'm so glad everyone loves that drawing, I think it's one of the best things I've done in a long time.

Why thank you! Now we have to get you in an eyepatch and tricorn hat. Thank you for the Thinking Blogger award! Now I must nominate 5 of my own! What a cool thing!

I sure did have a lot of fun! The flower pics did turn out pretty well!

Thank you for the compliment! I prefer chunky girls myself tho you don't get many pictures of those today. Thanks for stopping by!
