Could it be Dr Who?
Uh...The Dr. Who Christmas Special!
(...knows very little about the Doctor, especially those before and after the Tom Baker version...)
I guess the TARDIs is a dead giveaway but yes this is from a Christmas special called The Christmas Invasion.
And Johnny to many folks I talk to there is no Doctor Who before or after Tom Baker. Baker really was a fab Doctor so it's easy to understand why so many people love him.
