There's a great anti-smoking Superman comic, issued by the UK Health Authority in 1981, in which the Son of Krypton battles "Nick O'Teen, Hijacker of Health"! The cover shows our hero gasping for breath as he flies through an acrid cloud.

I love the old dell and Charlton covers now so much more than when I was a kid and only bought Marvel comics.
The pen and ink work on the Popular Teenage cover is great. Well, brush and ink I assume. Not much work done like that anymore. And that title is so slick. I think I may have some similar teen covers here somewhere. As always. good stuff.

Been a million years since I've seen it, but it is great, lush techicolor and Tracy as a priest and ol' blue eyes as a convict. Classic redemption story.
Brain Boy was obviously written by a disgruntled Democrat who hates Bush.
I guess Brain Boy thinks he's too good to wear tights. At least put a "B" on your tie mister smartypants!

Now I want to see a really cheesey comic book cover with Spencer Tracy and Kirk Douglas wrestling in a volcano with some squealing native love interest standing frightened on the sidelines!
