Anyway, I posted my birthday greeting to both of you on my own blog...and if by some strange fluke you have any other readers fortunate enough to share this birthday, they should consider themselves included as well. It's obviously the coolest day to be born, to judge by the overwhelming evidence.

This posting reminds me of the time my husband took me out to dinner for my birthday and surprised me with a Cookie Monster Cake! Needless to say, I made friends instantly, especially when I shared some cake with these two children sitting at the next table....lots o' blue frosting to go around!

Did you ever see that episode of The Simpsons where Principal Skinner's mom is watching Bart and to entertain him she shows him a binder of cake recipes she had collected for years. Bart eventually asks if she has any real cake to eat and she answers Oh no I don't like cake it's much too sweet. Always cracks me up.
